About Automotive Supply Initiative:
The automotive supply initiative was brought into being by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Transport, Agriculture and Winegrowing of the state of Rheinland-Pfalz in 1996. Its role is to prepare small and medium-sized businesses for the challenges of the future and support them during the reorganisation process.
Common aims include the maintenance and extension of international competitiveness, safe-guarding and creation of jobs and improvement of co-operation among automotive suppliers as well as between suppliers and manufacturers.

The automotive network unites the competences of automotive suppliers in Saarland under one roof and implements the transfer of knowledge and technology in order to boost the competitiveness of the automotive supply industry in Saarland and to unleash powers of innovation.

About Commercial Vehicle Cluster:
The Commercial Vehicle Cluster in the south west of Germany represents a communication platform for all companies who participate in the conception, development, production, service and operation of commercial vehicles. Networks between manufacturers, suppliers, qualifiers and researchers are being developed.
Due to the achievements of the cluster, the competitiveness of the participating companies is increased by developing new products and processes faster, achieving a higher productivity and quality and easier recruiting of qualified personnel.
